Together We’re Better, the partnership of NHS, local government, voluntary and community sector organisations that is leading on the transformation of health and social care services in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is inviting local people to join its Local Representatives group.
This group is comprised of volunteer patient and community representatives who are passionate about public participation and want to help shape health and care services in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
Face-to-face workshops are held every two months on a range of areas and the feedback provided during these sessions is supporting the development of Together We’re Better’s plans for public, workforce and stakeholder involvement, due to commence this Spring.
Members of this group come from all walks of life, including existing Patient Participation Groups, Healthwatch members, local community advocates, school governors and other roles – and new faces are always welcome.
The next Local Representatives workshop session will be held on Tuesday 5 March from 10am-2.30pm in the Carol Ann Duffy Room G08, Entrust, Riverway Centre, Riverway, Stafford, ST16 3TH (directions are available here). The workshop will include a complimentary lunch and refreshments, while claims for travel expenses following the meeting are welcome.
