VAST Training
Quick Links:
At VAST we recognise that training is a vital part of any business operation and we are confident that our programme remains quality assured at all times. Our trainers have over 10 years experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors and are: fully qualified in all subject areas delivered, qualified teacher/trainers, qualified assessors & internal verifiers, those that offer Business Support are also SFEDI accredited.
We hope that the following may not only be of interest to you and your organisation but will also give you the added benefit of knowing that the money you have invested is being used to further benefit the people of Stoke-on-Trent.
We appreciate that funding or lack of it plays a major part in an organisations ability to access training and therefore we aim to keep our fees at very competitive prices.
Grant funding available for training
Grassroots Grants is a scheme aimed at helping Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire based third sector, voluntary and charitable groups with grants between £250 & £5,000. In order to be eligible for a Grassroots Grant you need to be able to show that your income is under £30,000 per year and that you are working for the benefit of the community. You also need to show that your group is sustainable, or that you are working towards being sustainable, and what better way to show that than through training? For further information please contact the Staffordshire Community Foundation on 01782 683018 or visit their website at www.staffsfoundation.org.uk
