Children & Families Team -
City Dads Network

The City Dads Network is open to all dads, grandparents and male carers.

We meet every month at the Hope Children’s Centres.

Future Meeting Dates:

  • 16th September 9.30am – 12pm
  • 15th October 9.30am – 12pm
  • 18th November 9.30am – 12pm
  • 9th December 9.30am – 12pm

Aims and Objectives:

  • To support a diverse range of dads city-wide offering friendship, support, advice and consultation opportunities
  • Create robust links with services city-wide and work with them to enable them to become more Father Inclusive
  • Develop a clear two way communication structure between the network and the Children and Young People’s Trust
  • Be an integral part of consultation and collation of establishing the needs of fathers and feeding these into the relevant organisations and work streams
  • Have a direct input into the Parenting Implementing Change Group Dads work stream
  • Establish and develop robust partnerships with organisations championing father inclusiveness
  • Promote and support the Think Fathers Campaign.
