Quality Award
A group of young people age between 8-11 years started a Quality Award Team with The Children’s Fund back in 2003. They designed a system that was able to assess services for children and young people in Stoke-on-Trent to identify if they were a good service. Any service that works with people from birth to 19 can apply for the Award. Services successful would show they have met a set of criteria devised by the young assessors.
So far we have had 40 services from across the city achieve the Award and 21 of those have been schools.
